Arsonists attack Yala rock grinding plants | Bangkok Post: news

(Photos by Maluding Tido)YALA - Arsonists made simultaneous attacks on two rock crushing plants in Muang district early on Friday, setting fire to 12 ten-wheel trucks, two oil trucks, three backhoes and an auto repair building, police said. The Manu rock grinding plant, owned by Manu Lekhakul, and the Peerapol Sila plant, owned by Prakob Chom-in, were each attacked about 1am. Guards at the Manu plant told police at least four armed and hooded men stormed into the premises. Altogether 12 ten-wheel trucks used to cart rocks and earth, two oil trucks, three backhoes and an auto repair building were destroyed or damaged by the fires at the two plants.
